Click the 'Add video to list' button to import your mp4 file/files into the video source list. SuperAVConverter supports batch conversion, so you can import multiple files at a time. If you experience any problems adding files by directly clicking the 'Add' button, you can click 'Add video to list -> Add video files' or 'Add video to list -> Add all video files in a folder' to add the video files you want to convert from your computer.
Step2: After selecting your mp4 file, you need to select your output format, click the drop-down list as follow:

Step3: After you select the files, an 'Output Settings' panel will pop up for you to customize the output quality in VCD/SVCD/DVD/MPEG1/MPEG2 SETTINGS. Better quality will take a little longer time to convert. If you don't want to do these settings, the default settings will just work perfectly.
>After clicking 'Ok', a 'Splitting video' panel will pop up at once. The 'Splitting video' area allow you convert part of a mp4 file to a mpeg2 file. You can split the file by time.
You can preview your selected file by click 'Preview' button and estimate the time-range of the video you want to convert. Then enter the start time and the end time to the time box behind to set the clips you want to convert.
Then click 'OK' to complete the conversion task add. The default setting is full in length.
Now you can see the task list and add/modify/remove from the queue. Don't forget to setup the Output folder.
You can schedule to shut down your computer after all conversion is finished, or even you can setup the shut-down at any time after conversion is started. It wouldn't cause damage to your conversion process.
Step4: After you finish all the above steps, click 'Convert Now' button to begin the real work. A processing bar can monitor the working status and total progress.
A dialog will pop up to help you open the Output folder after conversion finished.
