How to record Screen to AVI/MPEG4

The default panel is Video Capture from external device. We choose the tab of 'Screen Recorder'.
Step2: We need to select your output format, click the drop-down list as follow: We choose 'Save as AVI/MPEG4 format' here.
There are three check boxes in the second line to setup 'whether capture audio while screen recording', 'whether record the mouse movement and clicking' and 'whether hide dialog when capture'. Do just as you like.
We configure the preferences of 'Output Frame Rate' (frame per second). SuperVideoCap supports maximal FPS with 30 frames per second. You can make it higher if you want smoother playback, especially for videos containing a lot of motion. However, higher frame rates also result in bigger files. But don't be worry, a good compression technology of SuperVideoCap will get smaller file size, and that means less space on storing and less time on sharing. (Generally the default compression settings are fine.)Also, you should configure a hot key to stop capturing without disturbance of screen.
The next step is to drag target icon on the left to any position of the capture window, for example, an explorer or a media player. When the focus is on the window, release mouse button and the window can be selected. If you want to capture the full screen, drag and drop the target icon to the desktop. Full Desktop records everything that happens on the screen. Also you can set the size and position of the rectangular area in pixels.
Step3: After you finish all the above steps, click 'Capture' button, an 'AVI/MPEG4 Output Settings' panel will pop up for you to customize the output quality. You can set 'Video Compressor' first here.
Next, you can set 'Audio Compressor' in 'AVI/MPEG4 Output Settings'.
Then you click 'Setting', a 'Configure' panel will pop out for you to set 'Temporal Quality Ratio' by yourself.
Step4: Click 'OK', the next step is to specify your output folder and the file name.
To start recording by press 'save' on your keyboard. Now, perform the actions you want to document. SuperVideoCap will record them in the background. To stop the recording, press the hot key you set aforehand.
