A: Some players can't support Microsoft standard avi file well. We recommend users to use Microsoft Windows Media Player to play the output avi file.

A: You set a wrong record setting of your Windows system. You can fix this problem in the following way:
Click 'Start' Menu of the Windows, click 'Run' and input command line 'Sndvol32 /r'. In the popup dialog, select a right audio input, such as wave/MP3, stereo mix. Run SuperVideoCap again to test the result.

A: In general, when you capture video from hardware, such as DV, DC, TV Tuner Card and Web Cam, we recommend users to use DivX codec which has better quality or smaller file size. If you haven't installed DivX codec, please download it from http://www.divx.com/ . Another good choice is XviD codec which is free, you can download it from here. But, if you use 'Screen Recorder' feature, we recommend users to use 'Microsoft Video 1' or 'MPEG-4 Video Codec V2/V3' as video compressor which has smaller file size. We DON'T recommend users to use Divx/ Xvid codec as video compressor, because they have video size limit.
